Stephanie – Surviving Depression

Stephanie, from the Inland Empire – Immigrant Youth Coalition, shares her experience with depression, sexual abuse, and attempts of taking her own life. She also offers some advice for those who are battling depression. She also sends a message to Yanelli.

  • Help Irvin!

    Irvin has been in the United States since he was only eight months old, when his parents brought him here. He was diagnosed with kidney failure at age 13. Although his prognosis was very dire, he is still alive. He had been receiving dialysis treatment in Georgia until he discovered that, at age 18, his immigration status disqualified him from further treatment. Irving was forced to move to California in order to continue receiving treatment and is now away from his mother in a place completely new to him.
